Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Langrick Media, Inc., doing business as Wonderwell ("we," "us," "I"), collects and uses your personal data at wearewonderwell.com. We act as the data controller for users in the EU/EEA and UK, and as the responsible business for users in California and elsewhere.
Contact: [email protected] · 1810 North Bronson Ave., Apt. 109, Los Angeles, CA 90028
What we collect
Information you give us: your name and email (when you take the quiz, subscribe, or buy); billing details and purchase history (payments are handled by Stripe — we never store your full card number).
Collected automatically: basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) and — only if you consent to non-essential cookies — analytics/advertising identifiers. See the Cookie Policy.
Quiz responses: used to generate your Ice Breaker result and tailor the emails you receive.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis (GDPR, for EU/UK users)
| What we do | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Deliver products you bought; provide support | Contract |
| Send marketing emails (newsletter, sequences) | Consent (withdraw any time) |
| Generate and send your quiz results | Consent |
| Process payments; keep tax/accounting records | Legal obligation / Contract |
| Privacy-respecting analytics (if enabled) | Consent, or legitimate interests where no cookie is set |
| Advertising / retargeting (if enabled) | Consent |
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with service providers under data-processing agreements: Mailchimp (email) · Stripe (payments) · [HOSTING PROVIDER] (hosting) · Meta / analytics (only with your consent).
These providers are mostly US-based. For EU/EEA/UK users, any transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
How long we keep it
Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Purchase and tax records: as required by law (US federal/California; typically several years).
Your rights
If you're in the EU/EEA or UK (GDPR): you may access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing; request portability; and withdraw consent at any time (e.g. the unsubscribe link in any email). You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
If you're in California (CCPA/CPRA): you may request to know what personal information we hold, request deletion or correction, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights. (Note: a small business like ours likely falls below the CCPA revenue/volume thresholds, but we honor these rights as a courtesy and good practice.)
To exercise any right, email [email protected]; we'll respond within the legally required time.
Cookies
At launch, we use only essential cookies needed for the website and checkout to function. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies at this time, so no consent banner is required. If that changes, this policy and the site will be updated accordingly.
Children
Our site and products are for adults and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16 (or under the digital-consent age applicable to the user).
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date at the top will reflect any change.
